> La Sociedad Psicodélica (LSP) is a decentralized, leaderless psychedelic community in Spain. It shares honest harm-reduction information, explains the legal framework around psychedelics in Spain, hosts member-organized community gatherings, and offers preparation/integration services — without gurus, hierarchy, or dogma.

## What we do

- Publish honest, non-moralizing harm-reduction information: set and setting, dosing, interactions — no minimizing, no scare tactics.
- Explain, in plain language and with legal nuance, what Spanish law actually says about psychedelics (Ley Orgánica 4/2015, Código Penal art. 368, and the specific, more permissive case law around psilocybin mushrooms/truffles and ayahuasca) — see the Legal page.
- Run a leaderless "sharing circle" model: members gather to talk about psychedelic experiences without judgment, dogma, or haste. No one here sells spiritual authority or a one-true protocol.
- Offer direct services: preparation, trip-sitting, integration sessions, legal advisory for businesses, talks/consultancy, and a page explaining what a psychedelic experience actually involves.
- Host a member-run events calendar: community members publish their own gatherings; publishing requires a public display name (events are never anonymous).
- Refer retreat-seekers (San Pedro, ayahuasca, and other plant-medicine retreats) to La Mezquita in Alicante — LSP itself does not organize or run retreats directly.
- Maintain a 30+ post blog archive (recovered from the pre-2026 WordPress site) covering psychedelic science, harm reduction, culture, and community history — mostly Spanish-only; LSP does not fabricate English translations for posts that were never actually translated.

## Community structure

LSP is intentionally decentralized and leaderless. There is no single spiritual authority, no admission gatekeeper approving who can attend gatherings, and no open WhatsApp groups (easy to infiltrate, hard to moderate, no room for someone to explain their situation before showing up). Anyone interested reaches out through the contact form and gets pointed toward the circle or gathering that makes sense for them.
